Qontigo has announced the new composition of the STOXX Europe 600 Index. Effective as of the opening of European markets on September 19, 2022, the following stocks will be added to and deleted from the index and its respective size and sector indices.

Qontigo today announced the results of the regular annual review of the STOXX Blue-Chip Indices, among them the STOXX Europe 50, EURO STOXX 50 and STOXX Nordic 30 indices, as well as the results of the second semi-annual review of the STOXX Eastern Europe 50 Index. All changes will be effective with the opening of European markets on September 19, 2022.

Qontigo has licensed the DAX® Index and the EURO STOXX 50® Index to Japan’s largest ETF issuer, Nomura Asset Management. Both indices come in their currency-hedged version and serve as underlying benchmarks for new ETFs, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on September 2. It is the first DAX ETF listing in the Japanese market.

Five STOXX global thematic indices from Qontigo, a global provider of index, analytics and risk solutions, have been selected for the iShares Future Tech Innovators ETF (ITEK). The ETF, launched by BlackRock Australia, is composed of six underlying ETFs that invest in disruptive, technology-themed companies driving innovation and providing solutions to global challenges.

Stocks tumbled in June, with the STOXX® Global 1800 index sliding into a bear market, on concern the world’s major economies may be headed for a recession while central banks are fighting runaway inflation.

Due to the breach of basic criteria (timely publication of Quarterly Statement or Quarterly Financial Report, as outlined in section 5.1.2 in the Guide to the DAX Equity Indices) Nordex SE will be deleted from the SDAX and TecDAX.
