The iSTOXX Europe 600 ESG-X Fintech Tilted Index tracks the performance of all of the STOXX Europe 600 ESG-X securities and the 10 largest securities from the STOXX Global Fintech Index, subject to country, liquidity and ESG screens. The index is reviewed quarterly in March, June, September, and December.

Per the ESMA guidelines on funds’ names using ESG or sustainability-related terms, this index meets an 80% threshold linked to the proportion of investments used to meet environmental or social characteristic or sustainable investment objectives in accordance with the binding elements of the investment strategy.

The STOXX Global Climate Change Leaders Index is based on the CDP “A list” database, previously known as the Climate Performance Leadership list. This unique index concept includes carbon leaders who are publicly committed to reducing their carbon footprint. CDP’s “A List” was originally produced at the request of 767 investors who represent more than a third of the world’s invested capital. STOXX Climate Change Leaders Index is the first ever that tracks the CDP “A List” available to market participants, offering a fully transparent and tailored solution to address long-term climate risks, while participating in the sustainable growth of a low-carbon economy. The index is price weighted with a weight factor based on the free-float market cap multiplied by the corresponding Z-score carbon intensity factor of each constituent. Components with lower carbon intensities are overweighted, while those with higher carbon emission are underweighted. The indices also exlcude companies violating international norms, are involved with controversial weapons, tobacco, thermal coal, civilian firearms, military equipment, and unconventional oil and gas.

The STOXX Global Low Carbon Diversification Select 100 EUR Index captures the performance of low carbon emissions stocks with low correlation, low volatility and high dividends from the STOXX Global 1800 Index.

The component selection process first excludes all stocks that belong to the ICB Subsector 1771 (Coal), then selects in each ICB industry all stocks whose Carbon Intensity is the lowest. Next, it excludes all stocks with the highest 12-month average correlation with all other stocks in the benchmark, then excludes stocks whose 3- or 12-month historical volatilities are the highest. Among the remaining stocks, the 100 stocks with the highest 12-month historical dividend yields are selected to be included in the index. The percentage of exclusion/inclusion at each step is the same.  The index also exlcudes companies violating international norms, are involved with controversial weapons, tobacco, thermal coal, civilian firearms, military equipment, and unconventional oil and gas.

Those constituents are weighted according to the inverse of their volatility, with a cap at 10%. The indices are reviewed quarterly.
