The ECPI US Governance Government Bond Monthly Hedged Index is a monthly hedged version of the ECPI US Governance Government Bond Index. The ECPI Hedged indices are an innovative investment tool that measures the performance of an underlying index while at the same time eliminating foreign currency fluctuations. The indices therefore combine the performance of the underlying ECPI index with a hypothetical, rolling investment into one-month foreign exchange forward contracts. The ECPI Hedged indices are designed to serve as a benchmark for actively managed funds and to underlie exchange traded funds and structured products.

The ECPI Global Developed Ex EMU Governance Government Bond Index selects bonds in the ECPI Global Developed Governance Government Bond Index issued by non-EMU countries which are eligible investments according to ECPI Government Governance Rating Methodology.

STOXX ESG Target TE Indices aim to provide a low tracking error to the benchmark index while ensuring an improved ESG score. The weighting of each constituent security is determined through an optimization process that is designed to ensure diversification and uses Axioma's Risk Model and Optimizer to construct the indices. Companies that are non-compliant based on the ISS ESG’ Norms-based research assessment or are involved in controversial weapons are not eligible for selection. Additional exclusion filters are applied, screening companies for involvement in tobacco production and distribution, thermal coal extraction and power generation, small arms manufacturing, military contracting, unconventional oil and gas exploration and production, high ESG risk, and ESG controversies.

This index applies screens in alignment with the ESMA guidelines on funds’ names using ESG or sustainability-related terms, which include controversial weapons, Tobacco, Coal (>1%), Oil fuels (>10%), Gaseous fuels (>50%/ Power generation), UNGC principles / OECD guidelines.

The ECPI Emerging Markets ESG Government Bond Index selects investment grade ('AAA' to 'BBB' ) and non-investment grade ('BB' to 'B') emerging markets government bond issues denominated in EUR and USD that have a positive ESG rating according to ECPI ESG Screening Methodology.
