ECPI Global Developed Ex EMU Governance Government Bond

The ECPI UK Governance Government Bond Monthly Hedged Index is a monthly hedged version of the ECPI UK Governance Government Bond Index. The ECPI Hedged indices are an innovative investment tool that measures the performance of an underlying index while at the same time eliminating foreign currency fluctuations. The indices therefore combine the performance of the underlying ECPI index with a hypothetical, rolling investment into one-month foreign exchange forward contracts. The ECPI Hedged indices are designed to serve as a benchmark for actively managed funds and to underlie exchange traded funds and structured products.

Derived from the STOXX Global ESG Leaders Index, the EURO STOXX ESG Leaders 50 Index covers the 50 largest stocks from 11 Eurozone countries: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. The index is designed to serve as a highly liquid underlying for financial products.

The STOXX Global ESG Leaders index provides access to the leading global companies in terms of environmental, social and governance criteria, using a bottom-up selection approach based on ESG Risk Ratings provided by Sustainalytics. Companies that are non-compliant based on the Sustainalytics’ Global Standards Screening assessment or are involved in controversial weapons are not eligible for selection. Additional exclusion filters are applied, screening companies for involvement in tobacco production and distribution, thermal coal extraction and power generation, small arms manufacturing, military contracting, unconventional oil and gas exploration and production, and ESG Controversies.

The iSTOXX L&G Single-Factor indices are designed to provide exposure to Quality risk-premia factor, where style factor scores are provided by Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM). This index applies screens in alignment with the ESMA guidelines on funds’ names using ESG or sustainability-related terms, which include controversial weapons, Tobacco, Coal (>1%), Oil fuels (>10%), Gaseous fuels (>50%/ Power generation), UNGC principles / OECD guidelines.Per the ESMA guidelines on funds’ names using ESG or sustainability-related terms, this index meets an 80% threshold linked to the proportion of investments used to meet environmental or social characteristic or sustainable investment objectives in accordance with the binding elements of the investment strategy.
