Qontigo’s global index provider STOXX Ltd. has announced changes to the DAX index family, which will become effective on 19 September 2022.

The funds track yen-hedged versions of the two European flagship benchmarks and come amid increasing Japanese demand for foreign assets.
Qontigo has licensed the DAX® Index and the EURO STOXX 50® Index to Japan’s largest ETF issuer, Nomura Asset Management. Both indices come in their currency-hedged version and serve as underlying benchmarks for new ETFs, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on September 2. It is the first DAX ETF listing in the Japanese market.

Five STOXX thematic indices to underlie iShares Future Tech Innovators ETF in Australia
Five STOXX global thematic indices from Qontigo, a global provider of index, analytics and risk solutions, have been selected for the iShares Future Tech Innovators ETF (ITEK). The ETF, launched by BlackRock Australia, is composed of six underlying ETFs that invest in disruptive, technology-themed companies driving innovation and providing solutions to global challenges.
Investors can access three different German benchmarks that follow an ESG strategy designed to meet specific needs and responsible objectives, and that have the same rules and transparency characteristics as the blue-chip DAX index.
The STOXX Global 1800 index gained 7.9% in dollars last month, its best monthly showing since November 2020. The index is still down 14.4% in 2022.
Stocks jumped by the most in 20 months in July as investors focused on better-than-forecast earnings reports and on expectations that the Federal Reserve may slow down the pace of interest-rate increases.
