STOXX US Nexus 100

Index Description

The STOXX US Nexus 100 Index is designed to represent some of the largest non-financials companies listed on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. The companies are screened for liquidity, and come from a variety of sectors, with a strong emphasis on technology, telecommunications, and consumer services. The index has 100 components. The indices are weighted according to the free float market capitalization, adjusted for foreign ownership restrictions. Individual weights are capped at 20%.

Performance and annual returns

Methodology

The largest 80 securities in terms of full USD market capitalization from the initial selection join the final selection. The remaining 20 securities are selected from the largest remaining current components of the STOXX US Nexus 100 Index which are ranked between 81 and 120 in the in terms of full USD market capitalization from the initial selection. If there are still less than 100 components, then the largest remaining securities are selected from the initial selection until the number of 100 is reached. The index is reviewed annually on the first dissemination day after the third Friday in December.
