Strong export companies are profiting from the stable world economy and the positive consumption and investment climate abroad (particularly in Europe, the US and Asia). “Made in Germany” remains a sign of the quality of German products and is held in high esteem among foreign customers.The DAXplus® Export Strategy Index tracks the performance of the ten strongest exporters from the DAX® and MDAX®. In 2006 the value of goods exported from Germany reached just under €894 billion. The top export goods remain cars, machinery and chemical products. With DAXplus® Export Strategy, Deutsche Börse has introduced a strategy index which focuses on the German export sector in order to participate in this performance. The index lists the ten strongest exporters on the DAX® and MDAX®, measured by the share of revenues generated outside of Germany. Investors can profit from global growth trends with an investment in the German companies with the highest foreign sales via this index.
