STOXX US Foreign Focus

Index Description

The STOXX US Focus indices are designed to capture the performance of companies based on their revenue exposure across domestic or foreign markets. The STOXX US Domestic Focus Index tracks companies that generate the majority of their revenues within the US. On the other hand, the STOXX US Foreign Focus index tracks companies that generate most of their revenues outside of this region.

Performance and annual returns

Methodology

The parent index of the STOXX US Focus indices is the STOXX US. Index constituents are selected from the eligible list of companies as follows:
1. STOXX US Domestic Focus Index: From the Universe, only companies with 50% or more domestic geographical revenue will be included in the Domestic Index.
2. STOXX US Foreign Focus Index: From the Universe, the remaining companies which were not included in the Domestic Index, will form the Foreign Index.
The index is reviewed semi-annually in June and December.
