Summary
Tradable indices for fixed-income bonds
The EUROGOV index family comprises five selection indices and the EUROGOV® Money Market Index, which are all calculated in both total return and price return versions. The indices are based on binding quotes for bonds and track the German market for fixed-income government bonds denominated in euros. The five EUROGOV selection indices cover different maturity classes and each contains a maximum of 15 liquid government bonds. The weighting of the bonds in the index is based on their market capitalization. The maximum weighting of a bond is limited to 25 percent. The composition of the EUROGOV selection indices is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
