EURO iSTOXX Megatrend Select 30 Decrement 3% Index Licensed To Intesa Sanpaolo

ZUG, September 14, 2020 – Qontigo has licensed the EURO iSTOXX Megatrend Select 30 Decrement 3% Index to Intesa Sanpaolo. The index will be used as underlying for an equity protection certificate that will be distributed by Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking.

The index selects companies with exposure to a combination of trending sectors, taking into account low volatility and high dividends, while incorporating UN Global Compact and controversial weapons filters.

The EURO iSTOXX Megatrends Select 30 NR Decrement 3% Index replicates the performance of the net return version of EURO iSTOXX Megatrends Select 30 Index, assuming a constant 3% performance deduction per annum. The index selects companies with exposure to a combination of sectors linked to the nine STOXX thematic indices: Broad Infrastructure, Sharing Economy, Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Housing Construction, Next Generation Telecoms, Millennials, Fintech, and Silver Economy. Only companies with more than 25 percent revenue exposure to these sectors are included. It follows a low volatility and high dividends process, while including UN Global Compact and controversial weapons filters.
