Global indices rise for fourth month in July amid tariffs thaw, earnings optimism
The STOXX World AC index added 1.4% last month in US dollars and 4% in euros. US stocks and Value indices led the advance.
Stocks rose for a fourth consecutive month in July amid optimism that the worst of new trade tariffs will be avoided and as companies reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings.

Global indices wrap best quarter since 2020 in June amid earnings optimism; US stocks climb to record
The STOXX World AC index added 4.5% last month in US dollars but only 1.1% in euros as the common currency advanced 3.1% against the greenback. The STOXX USA 500 rose 5.3%, above its February all-time high.
In June, stocks closed their strongest calendar quarter since December 2020, with US shares topping their February record, as earnings optimism outweighed geopolitical concerns and trade tensions. European stocks fell, paring their year-to-date advantage.

EURO STOXX 50 ESG ETF: Six years of sustainable exposure to Eurozone equities
On July 25, 2019, UBS listed the first ETF on the EURO STOXX 50 ESG, the sustainable version of the flagship EURO STOXX 50. Six years later, having undergone methodology updates and attracted more than EUR 2 billion in assets, the ETF continues to cement its presence in Europe’s responsible portfolios.
The DAX plays an important role in the market. The DAX index’s significance is evident in the EUR 19 billion in ETF assets tracking it as of February 2025.
