ZUG (October 2, 2026) –STOXX Ltd., part of the ISS STOXX group of companies and a global provider of innovative and tradable index concepts, today announced the results of the market consultation on proposed changes to the EURO STOXX 50 Index and its derived indices, as well as the STOXX Regional Blue-Chip Indices.

The following changes will be implemented by STOXX, applicable to all of the aforementioned indices:
- Removing of the Supersector Capping rule, effective with the index review in September 2029.
- Introducing a semi-annual index review in March and September, effective with the index review in September 2028, with the first semi-annual review taking place in the index review of March 2029.
- Aligning Fast Exits with the regular review and rebalance timing, effective with the index review in September 2027.
The consultation attracted broad participation across the index ecosystem.
The majority of respondents supported the implementation of the three consulted measures and STOXX decided to perform a phased implementation of the proposed changes.
