Methodology

"The STOXX Global Space Satellites and Drones universe consists of all stocks included in the STOXX World AC Universal All Cap Index . All securities in the universe are screened based on the following criteria:
- ISS ESG Norms Based Screening
- Controversial Weapons.
Companies are not excluded if information on Norm Based Screening or Controversial Weapons is missing.The remaining companies define the Eligible universe.
From the Eligible universe, companies are screened for the following criteria to form the selection list for index membership:
- RBICS revenue exposure to the theme.
- Type of relationship with Space Agencies, Leading private aerospace companies, and Pure players in the Space and Missile Equipment Manufacturing RBICS sector (details methioned in the Index Guide).
All securities in the Eligible universe that passed one or more of the selection list screens are constituents of the index. All companies in the composition list are then classified according to the two tiers.
- Tier 1: Constituents that pass the RBICS revenue exposure screen.
- Tier 2: All other constituents that do not meet the criteria for Tier 1.
